Conditions of Use

1. What we do

Buy Avanta is a personal-shopping and procurement service. We help customers in Ghana request products from selected retailers and marketplaces in the United States, quote a full landed cost, arrange international shipping to Accra, and deliver to the address you provide.

We are not the manufacturer, retailer or authorised distributor of the items we source. Product descriptions, images and prices originate from the seller’s public listing. We do our best to verify accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that every detail will match the listing at the time of purchase.

2. Orders, quotes and pricing

• All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD). We also display an approximate Ghana Cedi (GHS) equivalent for convenience using a recent exchange rate; the GHS figure may change before settlement.
• Your quote includes the item price, Texas sales tax where applicable, our service fee, international shipping & handling (including packaging cost recovery), and any Greater Accra doorstep delivery fee you select. Ghana customs duties, import taxes and government charges are not included at checkout.
• A minimum merchandise subtotal of USD 100 applies to each order. We may refuse or cancel orders that do not meet the minimum.
• Quotes are valid for a limited time. If a retailer changes the price or the item becomes unavailable before we purchase, we will notify you and ask how you would like to proceed.
• Full details of how Avanta orders are processed, priced, fulfilled and delivered are set out in our Terms of Purchase, which forms part of these Conditions of Use.

3. Payment

We accept payment through Paystack (mobile money and bank transfer in GHS) and Stripe (card payments in USD). You must complete payment before we place the order with the retailer. All fees are non-refundable except where we explicitly agree otherwise or are required by law.

4. Shipping and delivery

We use air freight and courier partners to move packages from the United States to Ghana. Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on retailer processing, flight schedules, customs inspection and local courier capacity. We will keep you updated on the status of your shipment.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional charges may apply for re-delivery, remote-area delivery or address corrections.

5. Returns, cancellations and problems

Cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy. Because items are purchased specifically for you, change-of-mind returns are only possible in limited circumstances. You must report any damaged, defective or materially incorrect item promptly with clear photos and a description.

If a retailer cancels an order or an item becomes permanently unavailable after payment, we will refund the item cost and any related unused shipping allocation. Service fees are not refundable once work has begun, unless otherwise required by law or agreed by Avanta.

6. Membership

Optional membership tiers reduce the service-fee percentage and may include other benefits. Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Prohibited and restricted items

You may not use Buy Avanta to request items that are illegal, dangerous, perishable, counterfeit, or restricted by Ghana customs or international shipping regulations. We reserve the right to reject any request without explanation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Buy Avanta is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or delays caused by third parties.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Conditions of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Buy Avanta after changes means you accept the updated terms.
